These are pictures of a necrotic heel. Patient had been suffering since 3 months and was finally advised lower limb amputation before coming to us.
Heel debridement followed by advanced wound care was carried out. During surgery the calcaneum was found to be involved and resection of the calcaneum was carried out.
Patient healed uneventfully and was mobilized in customized footwear.
This is a patient who remained undiagnosed with necrotizing fasciitis of the lower limb for 2 months before coming to us. At presentation patient had a non healing wound, severe leg pain, daily episodes of fever and uncontrolled blood sugars since 2 months. Patient was diagnosed with necrotizing fasciitis and operated accordingly. Two months post surgery patient had healed completely.
