Diabetes is one of the prominent causes in today’s world for NEUROPATHY. This is significant within 10 years of the disease and can increase continuously during the lifespan of the person.

Painful neuropathy affects about 1/3 rd of diabetic patients. This can be debilitating in many cases and can cause serious loss of income in terms of lost man hours in an attempt to reduce the severity of the pain.

Pain varies from severe to mild burning/tingling/”shocks”/pins and needles/cramps etc.

Symptoms are usually worst during evening hours and when the person tries to sleep at night.
